Position Objectives

  • Assisting Program Head by providing expert technical and operational guidance for large-scale (min 5000-10000 sites) infrastructure projects, focusing on supervising the design, deployment, and operation of advanced network solutions for government and enterprise clients.
  • Act as a technical expert to strategise and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Wireless, Core, Access, Cloud) to deliver reliable, high-performance networks that meet client needs and align with strategic business goals.
  • Strong experience in managing a PMO and Project Control function, as well as evaluating the progress.


Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Advise project teams on the design, deployment, and operation of network infrastructure and applications, ensuring seamless delivery for clients such as public safety agencies, government entities, or large enterprises.
  • Partner with project teams to identify and mitigate technical risks, particularly in integrating critical communication systems like Push-to-Talk (PTX) and other advanced communication solutions, ensuring smooth interoperability.
  • Provide technical expertise to the Project Management Office (PMO) and cross-functional teams to address integration challenges across network domains, including LTE and 5G systems.
  • Stay informed on industry standards, such as 3GPP specifications for critical communication use cases, and apply these standards to enhance project outcomes through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with industry groups to stay updated on telecom trends, sharing best practices and insights to improve project efficiency and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop a technology roadmap that aligns with client requirements, industry trends, and organisational objectives for next-generation networks.
  • Work with strategy and architecture teams to plan network upgrades, ensuring alignment with infrastructure goals and annual business plans.
  • Develop clear operating models and governance frameworks, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
  • Create technical documentation, such as contract annexes and service agreements, to support project deliverables and client requirements.
  • Participate in technical workshops and vendor discussions, reviewing proposals and raising key technical considerations to ensure quality and alignment.
  • Support the Program Manager with technical insights and provide clear, concise reports on project progress as needed.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Complete critical network projects on time and within scope, meeting client expectations.
  • Resolve technical issues efficiently to ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Deliver a technology roadmap that supports client needs and organisational goals.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 15+ years of technical experience in mobile network deployments, with a focus on design, implementation, or operations of LTE/5G networks.
  • Strong knowledge of critical communication network solutions, including familiarity with PTX or similar systems.
  • Solid understanding of 3GPP standards and modern network architectures, with experience working with telecom vendors.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience in international, multi-country, or Middle East Settings will be preferred.
  • Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.

Core Design Expert

Position Objective:

To lead solution architecture and design for 5G Core and EPC networks, ensuring interworking with other domains, driving transformation, and aligning with regulatory standards and business goals.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Designs 5G Core and EPC networks (AMF, SMF, UPF, NSSF, NEF, NWDAF, Core DO, MME, S-GW, P-GW, AAA, ePDG, DNS) to meet business requirements.
  • Develops capabilities for 5G standalone core, network slicing, private networks, and edge use cases.
  • Drives transformation and modernization of data services to align with emerging technologies.
  • Manages capacity and performance expansions for Data Core network components and services.
  • Ensures business continuity, georedundancy, and multi-layer resilience for data services, incorporating risk management guidelines.
  • Coordinates with Mobility, Transport, Fixed Services, IT, Cyber Security, and Operations teams for 5G and Data Core node integration.
  • Conducts end-to-end validation, verification, and acceptance testing for new VNFs/CNFs.
  • Designs and validates Data Core solutions, including NFV, OPNFV, service chaining, NFVI, VIM, and NFVO, approving related Method of Procedures (MOPs).
  • Maintains and approves technical documentation (HLD, LLD, integration specs, solution documents).
  • Validates vendor solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the latest technologies.
  • Prepares and evaluates RFX, RFI, RFP, RFQ, and BOQs, supporting procurement and vendor evaluation.
  • Conducts POCs, proposes emerging technologies, and drives business value through operational efficiency and service enablement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in telecommunications, with in-depth expertise in 5G Core and Data Core design.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Telecom Engineering, or a related field from a reputed university.
  • Techno-functional role requiring expertise in 5G Core and EPC (e.g., AMF, SMF, UPF, NSSF, NEF, NWDAF, MME, S-GW, P-GW), NFV (NFVI, VIM, NFVO), network slicing, CUPS architecture, Telco Cloud, and Open RAN.
  • Hands-on experience in network automation and orchestration (e.g., Python, Ansible) and solution validation for Data Core networks.
  • Strong Data Core design skills, including network architecture design, cross-domain integration, vendor management, and business value creation.
  • Ability to lead technical and functional aspects of Data Core initiatives, balancing design expertise with stakeholder collaboration and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication (written, oral, listening), leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in executive reporting and presentations.
  • Industry-recognized certifications in telecom, cloud, or network design (e.g., Cisco CCNP, Nokia SRA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are a must, equal competency in Arabic will be an advantage.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and relevant standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational processes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions on quality policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support the development of compliance-related policies and procedures.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks using a structured risk management framework (e.g., ISO 31000).

Project Control Coordinator

Position Objective:

A Project Control Coordinator will be responsible for supporting project finance control, cost estimation, and monitoring, while ensuring quality review and reporting are conducted effectively, the role manages the day-to-day administrative tasks and control processes of the project, enabling project and project managers to be on-time updated, oversee the financial situation of the whole project and track contractors to clear financial gaps on time.


Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Project Managers to determine Project Requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department for Budget & Related Finance Regulations. 
  • Coordinator with Design for Scope of Work Budget Forecasting and Related System Creations. 
  • Lead the preparation, monitoring, and control of different contractors’ budgets and financial statements.
  • Track project financials and compare actual as built against planned budgets highlighting gaps to the management.
  • Review contractor/supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with approved BoQs and process them on the company’s systems. 
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams for timely processing and approvals.

  • Monitor payment cycles and flag any delays or discrepancies and help in resolving issues impacting the project financials.
