Technical Design Manager (Architect) BIM-Tes

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the technical design team, providing guidance and mentorship to architects and BIM specialists.
  • Oversee the development of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.
  • Develop and implement BIM execution plans (BEP) and workflows to standardize project delivery across the organization.
  • Manage the BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, clash detection, and coordination with other disciplines.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve design issues and technical challenges.
  • Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks on all design submissions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry trends to recommend and implement new solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Advanced proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, Bentley Systems).
    • Proven experience with BIM coordination, clash detection (e.g., Navisworks), and data management.
    • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and material specifications.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
